Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be familiar with the following
products;
Hardware
·
Familiarity with F5 BIG-IP local traffic
managers
o We
currently have 5 HA pairs of these appliances spread across 4 datacenters
(GA010, NY723, WA708 and WA017). We are typically responsible for the hardware,
connectivity to (and through) the LTM, simple virtual server configuration and
basic iRule creation. We work in tandem with our production application support
team in order to fully support the functionality of the appliances as, in many
cases, the production application support team will develop iRules to suit
their needs.

Cisco ASA appliances
o There
are 8 HA pairs of these appliances spread across the 4 data centers and an
additional single unit installed in the NY723 datacenter. They are used as
primary firewalls, remote-access VPN servers (ipsec/ssl client and ssl
clientless) and IPSec L2L VPN concentrators. Our team works in tandem with the
Security group to manage all of the enterprise firewall solutions in the
environment. We manage the ASAs and they manage several Check Point firewalls
deployed in our GA010 and NY723 data centers.

Cisco Routers
o We
have a mix of Cisco 28xx/29xx, 38xx/39xx and 7201 series routers currently
installed in the environment used to provide connectivity to our two MPLS
providers (Verizon and CenturyLink).

Cisco Switches
o Cisco
3750,3850, 4500, 6500, Nexus 7010 and Nexus 9504 switches are deployed at our
various remote offices and datacenters.

Cisco Prime LMS
·
Cisco ACS v5.7
o Used
as RADIUS server for remote access VPN and wireless client authentication. Used
as TACAS+ server for administrative access to our network equipment. The Cisco
ACS is configured to query an Active Directory and RSA datastore
·
Forescout CounterAct
·
Network Instruments Observer (protocol analyzer)
·
Microsoft Visio
The successful candidate will also be familiar with the
following technologies.
·
Layer 2 - Spanning-tree, VLANs, Ethernet
·
Layer 3 - BGP, EIGRP, HSRP. IPSec
·
Layer 4 - HTTP, HTTPS/SSL
