User Experience Analyst
will function as the “voice of the user” by determining what exactly the users
of an application (or of a particular feature) are trying to accomplish, what
are their expectations, what is their desired interaction experience, and
determine opportunities to improve applications’ usability and overall user
experience.
He/she must champion
this information within the product organization during the ideation and design
phases.
User Experience Analyst
ensures that user needs, limitations, and attitudes are accounted for in the
design.
This role will be
responsible for designing and conducting user-centred design research and
usability testing on all required applications and have the ability to create
detailed screen wireframes to effectively communicate designs to product
management, design, and development teams.
Understand business
requirements and project objectives and align that with the user goals.
JOB DESCRIPTION
•
Define audience needs and translate those into design concepts for compelling
interactions and user experience.
•
Document functional/business requirements and prototype user experience and
interaction specifications.
•
Clarify research goals based on input from cross-functional teams.
•
Facilitate design, concept and prototype sessions; develop an effective and
efficient prototyping/storyboard process to communicate user experience visions
to stakeholders.
•
Translate research findings into actionable, prioritized recommendations.
•
Prepare, document and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
•
Develop wireframes of screens and interaction designs, as well as document
process flow.
•
Provide details wireframes for Desktop as well as Tablet/Smartphones based on
the requirements
•
Practical knowledge and experience working on Responsive Designs is definitely
required.
QUALIFCIATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
•
Human Factors International (HFI) Certified Usability Analyst or similar/higher
qualification in the field of Usability is must.
•
6 - 8 years of hands-on experience in user research, user interface design,
information architecture, usability testing, human factors, and other related
disciplines within a corporate environment
•
Must possess a thorough understanding of UCD best practices, application
design, and essential graphic design theory. Best practices will evolve over
time and require the individual to stay current.
•
Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tracks.
•
Excellent traceability of decisions and tasks undertaken.
•
Able to produce results independently as well as collaboratively in a team
environment.
•
Exceptional communication, organization, time management, and interpersonal
skills.
