Role : Data Power Engineer

Duration : 6 Months Plus
Looking for a data power engineer to perform the following duties:
Use data power devices to enable the SOA infrastructure to provide suitable service levels and manageability and to operate and integrate in a heterogeneous environment, in alignment with business needs, to allow consumer code to invoke services of providers in a manner that is independent of the service location and communication protocol involved. Perform web services deployment, service routing testing, logging and maintenance procedures.
Perform device configuration, providing appliance administration by action as secondary account administrator.
Define application domains ( eg., dev, test, prod, backend load balancing). Review standard operating procedures (e.g., Troubleshooting 101, high availability/ Disaster recovery plan).
Prepare key management reports; perform audit log management and transaction log management; administer web services proxies; load WSDL/XSD files.
Establish message security requirements:
WS- Security Header, Token handling, resource mapping (AAA), External Identity management, and various PKI encrypting methodologies. Ensure standardization of system implementation, support techniques and adherence to formal process, change control, best practices and total quality practices in all activities.
Work with Operation and site support teams to help achieve high quality of application and system availability.
Develop work creating domains, multi-protocol gateways web service proxies and XML firewalls using CLI ReST
Work with XML/MQ, XML/HTTP, and XML/ODBC. Work with infrastructure on firewalls, routes and load balancers for proper configuration for integrating with the data power appliances.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/CE/CIS/MIS/Engineering/Technology plus 5 years of experience as a software engineer, developer, Technical Lead or Programmer including a minimum of 3 years of experience in data power devices pertaining to solution architecture, front-side and back-side handler configuration, and device administration,.
Experience in PKI message encryption including SSL, x509, and OAuth, creating data power policies rules and actions (eg., AAA, Validation, filtering, transformation and SLA enforcement levels.)
Knowledge about XC10 appliance will be a plus.
