IX Java Developer
• Looking for proven Java developer who can function
independently at a technical level within about 3 weeks - not counting Mayo
processes or culture piece. The self-directed element is critical.
• Some Database skills are expected - will be using
RapidSQL
• Swing or SWT are nice to have
• RAD or Eclipse
• Will be doing some scripting for admin tools - ex.
create weekly script to move images older than 24 months from short-term to
long-term storage
• Some design skills are nice - nothing more than Visio
workflow expected technologically
• The ramp-up the first 2 months will be spent testing
and fixing bugs for the Sept 1 release. New development assignments for
following release will begin in Aug. and will run for 6-9 month cycles.
This is an open-ended need.
• Healthcare is nice to have.
• Imaging (ex. DICOM or HL7) are nice to have.
