Job Description:
- Function in a lead developer and technical architect role on multiple .NET software development projects.
- Design, implement, and maintain .NET application frameworks and components.
- Ensure that the development team adheres to established application frameworks, technical standards, methodologies, use of approved templates, tools, and techniques. Work with the Application Development lead to develop and review standards as needed.
- Ensure consistency and leverage similarities of technologies across projects.
- Leverage existing core technology and infrastructure wherever possible to avoid redundant or inconsistent development of given functionality.
- Assist with technical implementation of application components.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to develop task estimates.
- Provide guidance and direction to the development team.
- Take lead on system design and prototypes.
- Develop implementation plans.
- Coordinate architectural reviews.
- Assist in technical issue resolution as needed.
- Perform code reviews, quality check points, adherence to coding standards.
- Work with technical team to develop/validate estimates for development efforts.
- Develop technical documentation.
- Work closely with Project Manager and Application Development Lead to monitor and identify technical risks and issues; participate in execution of Risk Management Plans as needed.
Required Skills:
- 36 months of experience functioning in a lead technical architect role on software development projects.
- 84 months of experience programming applications in VB.Net or C#.Net with ASP.NET, using .NET framework 2.0 or above.
- 48 months of experience programming applications in Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), using .NET Framework 3.5 or above.
- 48 months of experience designing and developing applications using the MVVM or MVC architectural patterns.
- 36 months of experience designing and implementing unit testing frameworks for .NET applications using Team Foundation Server.
- 36 months of experience performing team build administration using build definitions in Team Foundation Server.
- 36 months of experience performing code reviews including code quality reviews, standards reviews and application security reviews.
- 36 months of experience developing applications that integrate with SQL Server Reporting Services.
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology related field, from an accredited institution.
- A copy of the degree must be submitted with the Candidate Response Form.
