Role : Pega Lead Systems Architect
Job Location:  Ft Collins, CO
Duration: 8 months contract
Need to look for USC only
Rate: $60/hr on C2C
Successful candidate is subject to a background investigation and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a position of public trust.
Description:  
The successful candidate will lead Pega development efforts of complex software and integration of 3rd party Pega software products into a unified production environment. Prove your leadership skills by leading cross functional teams in an Agile environment. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Architect and design BPM systems that will integrate with legacy applications
• Perform solution architecture and design within Pega PRPC
• Drive creation and integration of web services & WS-Security solutions
• Increase automation, quality and efficiency for members
• Fully understand business needs and requirements
• Design class structure, data models and application frameworks
• Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with application quality, coding, UI and Corporate standards, including review alert logs, running pre-flight and PAL
• Enforce best practices in Pega development (architecture, design, and coding)

Qualifications: Education and Experience:
• Masters or Bachelor’s degree required – Computer Science degree preferred
• At least 10 years’ experience supporting a software/hardware development efforts
• At least 3 years’ specific experience as a Pega LSA.

Required Skills and Competencies: 
The successful candidate will have experience in the following:
• Proven experience leading Pega Development efforts
• Strong Object Oriented design and implementation skills
• Exceptional communication skills in English both written and oral
• Comfortable in Agile Development Methodology, especially Scrum
• Design and implement application enhancements in collaboration with different teams
• Troubleshooting production support issues post release deployment and come up with solutions. Ability to solve complex production issues.
• Experience working with senior IT leadership to help define and implement enterprise-wide architecture standards.

Desired Skills:• Pega certification CLSA or CSSA highly desired
• Experience working government environment, desirable.
• Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• Comfortable in Agile Development Methodology, especially Scrum
