· Candidate will be working on distributed teams (automated testing). The team is comprised of 15-20 developers/testers. Coordination within the team will be key. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
· A Bachelor's degree is required for this role along with a minimum of 1 year experience (2+ is preferred).
In this role, you will help coordinate and participate in the testing of a web-based electronic discovery platform
Primary Responsibilities:
• Responsible for manual and automated testing of product
• Develop and execute manual and automated tests using Java, Test Complete, and Selenium.
• Partner with software development staff to resolve application bugs and test upcoming application releases.
• Actively participate in Iteration Planning, Stand-ups, and Team Retrospectives
• Develop software-testing artifacts within an agile process
• Proactively work to identify, clarify, and resolve issues; remove barriers within and outside the organization in a timely manner
• Proactively share knowledge on best practices for testing software and share best practices across all the software development and testing groups for this project.
Minimum Qualifications
• A four-year degree in Computer Science or other related field
• 1-3 years of software testing and/or software development experience
• 2+ years of Java/Javascript and/or .NET programming experience
• Experience working in Agile software development teams.
• Experience working with 3rd party automation tools such as Test Complete, other Keyword driven automation tools
• Proficiency in identifying optimized regression and integration test coverage
• Soap UI/end point testing experience
• Software testing and/or software development experience working with enterprise applications developed using various technologies (J2EE, REST, Endpoint Dev/Testing, AJAX, etc.)
• Knowledge and/or experience with the software tools and techniques used in automated testing
• Experience with large-scale projects including intra-departmental communication and collaboration
• Past experience working with remote teams.
• Collaborative leadership style and a strong commitment to continuous improvement
