Project Description: Develop applications and technical solutions for the Executive Office that use SharePoint 2013 and its related services. Position Functions or Responsibilities:
The Integration Lead Developer will be responsible for the following:
- Design and build integration components using industry standard design patterns with an eye to reusability

As part of the client objective to deploy Internet Protocol based Digital Video Surveillance (IPDVS), the client's IT organization is looking to hire an IPDVS Engineer to support the existing and new IPDVS sites coming into the production.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Candidate will support Genetec software across all schools and Federated sites.
- Creates images for all of our servers. Provides training on the use of the IPDVS system.
- Assists with the IPDVS Enterprise design, standards, and deployment for DIIT IP Video technology application. Candidate will be hands on technical resource on IP video cameras, video encoders, server, and video application.
- Candidate will also function independently in working on IPDVS project.
- Supervises vendors and applies quality assurance to the implementation, installation and verification of the component checkout process performed in a standard based environment for the IPDVS project.
- Provides remote support of IPDVS system components to the School Construction Authority’s deployment agents, vendors, integrators, and school-based Custodial Engineering staff. Configures cameras and IPDVS components.
- Performs comprehensive Remote Site QA Assessments of deployment IPDVS sites, including of server readiness, OS, database, Omni cast application, hardware integrity, power systems, remote systems management, etc. Perform Site Acceptance tasks i.e. password changes, user accounts creation and distribution, additions to system management applications, hardware and OS upgrades.
- Updates As-Built documentation for new or changed systems. Authored and edits procedural and operations documentation stored in Sharepoint for access by IPDVS team.
- Performs Quality Assurance assessments of new DVS jobs as they transition to production status. Create Windows server and Omni cast user accounts for integrators
- Serves as in-house expert and authority in IPDVS for multiple building environments. Stays abreast of new technologies. Consults on changes in network infrastructure.
- Acts as a field project manager overseeing vendors and applies quality assurance to the implementation, installation and verification of the component checkout process performed in a standard based environment for the IPDVS project.   Verifies that new components have proper software releases and that configurations of these components are installed according to pre-approved design and specifications. Documents modifications to configurations, tests and verifies solution functionality and determines and isolates problem source.
- Delivers an assessment report which indicates whether each job is accepted as completed or not. Issues a punch-list to the vendors for items noted as deficient and requiring work/re-work to bring them into compliance.
- Implements problem source identification/determination and technical support of all digital video surveillance cameras, IPDVS encoders, Windows operating systems, Cisco switches, routers, firewalls and general network connectivity components at IPDVS sites citywide.
- Reviews the school server setup and configuration parameters such as Operating Systems (OS), Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) and Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID arrays).
- Evaluates IPDVS application software configuration parameters associated with each unique school.
- Installs firmware upgrades. Works on Alarms and customer tickets. Creates work orders, opens tickets.
- Configures VPUs, MegaRaids, ServRaids, cameras.
- Examines and assesses the physical installation of cameras for focus, alignment, field of view, lens selection and lighting, including the appropriate bracket and mount selection.
- Analyzes MPEG-4 encoder configuration, firmware level and port mapping documentation.
- Reviews rack infrastructure build and installation for air flow, rail installation, and equipment positioning from cable management and serviceability perspective.
- Manages vendor submittals for completeness and accuracy:  Network & Electrical As-Built and asset data, User and Workstation form, Floor plan map files and OS License files.
- Documents a problem’s description, diagnosis and resolution in the Help Desk system per an established support plan.
- Coordinates, provides, reviews and assures strict adherence to highly technical specifications and standards for system hardware and circuitry.

Requires Skills:
- Minimum 5 years experience in installing, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting server hardware and related data center equipment.
- Knowledge of Internet Protocol based Digital Video Surveillance (IPDVS).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to lead and work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, effective planning and problem-solving abilities and strong technical expertise.
- Experience in systems, IPDVS software, and network engineering.
- Experience in configuring and troubleshooting PCs and servers.
- Have working knowledge of Genentec Omnicast software.
- Have working knowledge of Panasonic and Axis Cameras.
- Have working knowledge of VPU configurations.
- Understanding of analog video, audio technology,     Encoders, transmission requirements, NVT and Anixter CCTP Power over UTP products – 24 volts AC power, UTP specifications, balun technology.
- Installation, configuration and problem determination of Analog and IP cameras.
- Strong aptitude and technical knowledge of Windows operating systems and related services (AD, IIS, file services, terminal services, etc.).
- Proficient in Internet protocols and standards such as LDAP, TCP/IP, FTP, DHCP, WINS, DNS and related management tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills and ability to thrive in a team-based environment.
- Work on server build/rebuild requests, event log monitoring and review, performance analysis, hardware performance monitoring and domain management.
- Ability to lift up, install, cable, network, power up servers in data centers and in School MDFs unassisted.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and conditions.
- Document of all work and server environment.
- Analytical skills in identifying problems, determining causes, suggesting and implementing solutions.

Education:
A Bachelor’s in Computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, electrical engineering / or related fields of technical emphasis or relevant equivalent experience is required. Network+, A+, Axis IP cameras certifications preferred.
