Position Functions or Responsibilities:
The ETL Developer will focus on the data migration of multiple source systems (mix of legacy and distributed) and develop and maintain interfaces between SESIS, ODS and the client's systems.

The Senior ETL Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Work with the Data team to facilitate the implementation of Data Architecture
- Support the Vendor’s analysis, design, build, test and documentation of the complex Data Conversion and Integration solutions
- Support user acceptance test activities for the Data Conversion and Integration solutions
- Design and develop ETL code using Microsoft SSIS ETL tool for the definition, development and testing of the processes and programs necessary to extract data from the various data sources
- Monitor vendor activities related to Data Conversion and Integration
- Perform vendor deliverable review and approval for Data Conversion and Integration
- Work with other data analysts, business users and IT professionals to ensure that data requirements are met with the highest degree of integrity and efficiency that is practical and cost effective
- Ensure that documentation is captured, maintained, understood by and available to business and/or IT partners
- Participate in, or facilitate, business process and requirement sessions to ensure that the vendor fully understands the requirements and the data necessary to support those requirements
- Develop, Test and manage ETL jobs to specifications and design
- Escalate critical technical issues and potential problems as needed to the Project Manager to address any related issues in advance of deadlines
- Participate in focus group sessions as needed for information discovery.

Required Skills
- Minimum 8 years of experience with SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL and SSIS in SQL Server and Oracle.
- Minimum 8 years of experience with ETL and data quality tools
- Extensive knowledge and experience in MS SSIS and .NET technology (must have)
- Demonstrated experience in designing and documenting conversion and interface specifications
- ETL design and development skills and technical documentation experience
- Proven knowledge/experience in ETL performance tuning
- Sound knowledge of SQL and RDBMS, including MS SQL Server and Oracle
- Proven ability to produce high quality, bug free and highly scalable work
- Excellent analytical skills, detail and process-oriented
- Proven ability to coordinate activities with business and technical teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior experience with Legacy data conversion and cleansing highly preferred

Desired Skills
- Prior experience working on large IT vendor supplied Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) deployment projects for the Education Dept. or Government.
- Education (K -12) experience, especially knowledge of Special Education is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in managing data warehouse and ODS development design, analysis capability and deployment.
- Demonstrated experience in all facets of the Software Development Life Cycle using an iterative development approach such as Agile, including all forms of threat/risk assessment to ensure the software meets the goal of being secure for sensitive information.
- Must be self-sufficient in Microsoft Office, Project and SharePoint Portal Services. The successful candidate must possess the ability to build document templates and customize SharePoint portal services to the needs of the project.

Qualifications:
Duration: 3 to 4 months / Locals Preferred
Must have BMC ARC experience
This is for TWC-Texas Workforce Commission

Position Functions or Responsibilities:
The COBOL/BMC Development Lead / Architect will be responsible for -
1) Analyzing code to identify required changes and checkpoints
2) making changes to existing COBOL Batch programs/jobs to include calls to BMC Restart utility
3) Responsible for managing a team of 4 developers
4) Planning & execution
5) Will be responsible for executing and participating in analysis, coding and testing.
6) May be required to develop and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts.

Strong experience with BMC ARC for DB2 is required along with COBOL.
