Solid understanding of data management and metadata, including familiarity with data governance best practices
• Knowledge of and experience working with metadata and familiarity with data governance best practices – defining data elements and valid values, managing changes to metadata
• Strong analytical , process, problem solving and detailed oriented skills
• Ensures their data elements have lineage documented based on the requirements for each element
• Computer literacy/proficiency in data query tools such as SAS, SQL, Teradata, Oracle, UNIX, and MS Office preferred
