Seeking a Sr. C/C++ Developer to work on a 3+ month project
in upstate, NY. The selected resource will be writing code using C/C++ in a
Solaris 10 system to interface with an Oracle 11G Database. This role will be
developing a highly available system to communicate with Smart Meter
technology. Key responsibilities will be development of customer based systems,
production of designs based in requirements specification, liaison with
business analysts where necessary in relation to requirements. The key
competencies for this role are problem analysis/resolution, excellent
communication skills (both written & verbal), and it is ideal if the
candidate has worked in the Utilities industry.
Qualifications:
9 - 11 years of demonstrable experience in C/C++ software
development
Experience in the design, implementation and deployment of
high-performance large-scale applications in a distributed environment.
Experience in software development on Solaris 10
Knowledge of Oracle 11G Database
Experience with API design, computational complexity, and
service-oriented architectures\
