Position: Business Analyst with OBIEE

Overview:
Our
Client is seeking for OBIEE BA who is expert in design and development of
the enterprise data warehouse, Essbase cubes, OBIEE reports and dashboards.
Provide production support for Essbase Cubes, OBIEE environment, ensure proper
security rights, and manage to SLA's. The business analyst will will support in
the identification of data requirements; work with marketing and other
departments to help understand the business; create performance
metrics and identifies actionable approaches to improve metric
presentation and use and deliver
projects, providing appropriate communications and on-time delivery.
Strong
Experience with the following:
* Develops
Essbase cubes, OBIEE dashboards and reports for all levels of Marketing
business performance measurement.
* Investigates
new BI approaches and best practices; shares and consults with business
partners to leverage these for Marketing business process improvements.
* 4-6
years experience required in full lifecycle development including design,
development, testing and implementation of simple to moderate complexity
business intelligence applications including Marketing and/or equivalent
business reports and dashboards, performance measurement, decision support
systems and data warehousing.
Additional
Skills & Qualifications:
* BS
in Computer Science or Information Systems, Marketing, Business, Finance or
equivalent work experience.
* Solid
knowledge of data modeling and BI concepts.
* Solid
knowledge of MS-Excel (Macros, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
* Strong
knowledge of SQL.
* Solid
hands-on experience with reports development and data visualization.
* OBIEE
development experience preferred.
* Working
know-how of Essbase and/or equivalent OLAP cubes preferred.
* Familiarity
with big data such as HPCC systems preferred.
* Ability
to remain current on relevant trends in the BI industry.
