Role: UI Front End Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA

Rate: : Long term Contract / Full Time + Benefits

USC or GC Only

Overview:

Work with the engineering team to deliver engaging and highly usable user interfaces across our portfolio of applications. This includes design, development, documentation, debugging, and support of web/presentation tier code.
• Develop new or enhance existing functionality using JavaScript, CSS, HTML5
• Low fidelity UX/UI design using wireframing tools such as Visio, Fireworks, or Balsamiq
• Assist with the maintenance of a UI Pattern Library
• Participate in daily standups, code reviews, sprint reviews and sprint planning

Responsibilities:

• Interactive user interface design
• JavaScript programming (particularly Object Oriented)
• Debugging and troubleshooting JavaScript code
• Create highly compatible User Interfaces

Qualifications:

Qualifications
• 5+  years designing, developing, testing accessible, compatible and standards compliant user interfaces
• HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
• DOM Manipulation
• AJAX and JSON
• JavaScript toolkits such as  YUI, JQuery, Dojo, Rico, Ext-js, etc.
• Familiarity with HTTP protocol
• Software Development Life Cycle methodologies and practices

• Mobile Web Application Development
• Any experience with JS MV* frameworks
• Java
• Data Visualization
• JSTL and Tiles
• i18n
• Graphic design or production
• GIS or Mapping software/API
• YUI Toolkit
