Possess in depth knowledge of SAS Foundation 9.3/9.4,
SAS Metadata BI Server 9.3/9.4 and SAS Enterprise & Text Miner Server 12.1
and higher version.
SAS Platform Administration: Experience in installing
SAS 9.4 Intelligence Platform on new h/w & upgrading existing SAS 9.3
infrastructure to SAS 9.3 Intelligence Platform:
Migration experience from Base SAS9.3 to Base SAS
9.4 and Version upgrades of both server and client components, including
shepherding upgrades through certification processes.
Should have in-depth knowledge on SAS Management
Console, Metadata server, web service set up like JBOSS/Apache for the web-tier
on SAS intelligence platform.
Must have experience with SAS Enterprise Guide
application V4.3 or greater, SAS Enterprise Miner,SAS Management Console,SAS PC
File server and SAS Web Report Studio.
Setting up SAS services for NON Grid environment on
Unix.
Knowledge on SAS/ACCESS connectivity to various
databases like Teradata, Sybase, Oracle, DB2, Netezza,Hadoop etc and
SAS/CONNECT.
Base SAS, Macros, Proc SQL are must for debugging and
providing solutions to business partners for any RCA (root cause analysis) and
fine tuning.
Experience in security and workspace administration in
SAS Management Console.
Must have working experience in SAS & UNIX shell
scripting.
Troubleshoot/resolve SAS platform issues with in SLA.
Ensures the platform is positioned for compliance with
IT policies and standards and agreed upon service levels.
Experience with SAN and NFS file systems and Best
Practice recommendations and implementation.
