Description:
The
NAV instance will contain all the basic ERP modules, plus the Lanham E-Invoice,
E-Ship modules. They will go with the Advanced WMS. Barcoding for receiving,
putaway, shipping and transfers will be used. The project will follow the
Microsoft Sure-Step Methodology. From start to go-live – the Project duration
is estimated to be 9 to 10 months. Client has recently acquired a similar size
company in Melbourne, Australia and went live on NAV in September 2014. Future
integration is desired.

BI will be used at both NAV sites.
Job Responsibilities:
·
In-house expert in NAV – share knowledge and best practices with Staff
·
Analysis of business processes and designing solutions/configurations to match
·
Discovery of business requirements, performing gap analysis between goals and
existing procedures/skill sets, and design process and system improvements to
increase productivity and high availability.
·
Integration of Microsoft Dynamics NAV system with third party software packages
·
Report writing (Jet Essentials), end-user support and production support
·
Manage development and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics NAV modules
·
Train/educate staff as necessary on Microsoft Dynamics NAV usage
·
Assist in the design of the data migration strategy
·
Assist in development of Testing Procedures and UAT documents.
·
Work as core member of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV project team
Preferred Qualifications and Competencies:
·
Extensive experience in the implementation of Financial Accounting, Supply
Chain Management, WMS, Inventory Control and Distribution
·
Experience with international organizations, international sourcing and
distribution processes
·
Ability to comprehend and analyze customer requirements, help design
functionality to accommodate the business process needs into the Dynamics NAV
system
·
NAV certifications
·
Experience and understanding of SQL database structures – NAV tables and fields
– to facilitate report writing
