Position Scope
• The Oracle 11gAS PL/SQL-Forms-SQR Engineer is responsible for problem definition, functional design, testing, technical and end-user documentation and training, and implementation and post-implementation phases of one or two large in-house software development or software package implementation projects.
· Manages production migration process for applications and systems undergoing upgrades or fixes to ensure that disruption to clients is minimized.
• In-depth business system analysis, especially with large-scale, complex in-house application development or software package implementations.
• Knowledge of SQR or Willingness to learn SQR language to support Hyperion Production Reporting.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Define problems/opportunities, conduct impact analyses for in-house software development or packaged software implementation and upgrades or fixes. Present findings and business cases to appropriate management for approval before proceeding.
• For approved projects, functional designs for in-house software development or package implementation, upgrades, or fixes. Ensure use of standardized data element names and definitions, establishment of quality expectations, use of specific business rules and relationships, and determination of the sources of data. Ensure adherence to specific security rules and policies.
• Ensure development of test plans and post-implementation reviews are defined and completed.
• Ensure adherence of applications to formal processes, standards, and total quality practices in all activities.
• Collaborate with Applications and Systems Software Engineers and PMO in meeting their responsibilities with regard to project management, evaluation of current applications, and implementation of future business requirements
