2.) Expert level knowledge of the QlikView business intelligence products 3.) Hands-on experience designing and developing business intelligence solutions 4.) Experience developing BI solutions in Oracle, DB2, and Microsoft SQL Server 5.) Strong understanding of Star Schema data modeling Enterprise Data Management (EDM) is looking for a QlikView SME to join its Analytics Center of Excellence.
The CoE is
engaged in programs to increase the firm’s analytics and database solution
design competencies.
This
position will be responsible for QlikView applications design and support
both internally to EDM and on a consultative basis to the business units and
functional areas in the firm.
Essential Job Functions: • Subject Matter Expert for the QlikView product set • Act as the highest level of application support for all QlikView developers • Provide help desk support for QlikView user and development groups • Analyze QlikView application and server performance and break issues • Maintain full knowledge of QlikView product feature set and work with vendor to understand future direction of the product • Perform design review of QlikView applications, ensuring compliance with best practices and performance requirements • Provide training/mentoring to QlikView developers to increase their skill levels over time • Apply best practices in BI and data warehousing, assisting team members and customer areas with strategy and QlikView solution design Qualifications • Expertise in formal processes, methodologies, and artifacts for executing BI development functions in a controlled and repeatable manner • Strong problem solving, influencing, communication, and presentation skills • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
