Job Description:

Under the direction of client's management, major responsibilities include analysis, design, and development for maintenance and enhancements.  In addition, the consultant may have a joint  responsibility for the operation and support  of this application.  These activities will be related to, but not limited to the following areas:
- Design and develop multi-tier client server and web based applications using advanced Microsoft. NET Architecture framework
- Manage requirements gathering and analysis
- Analyze requirements and data access needs and propose file and screen designs
- Design SSIS packages and Data Transformations
- Code new objects (programs) to meet requirements
- Student Data Processing interface with mainframe systems and Operational Data Store
- Design and develop reports
- Implement security using the .NET Security Model and Active Directory for web applications
- Conduct QA testing
- Design and develop Web Services
- Upgrade of Systems
These activities will encompass all project life cycle phases including production support (24/7) and documentation of all tasks in accordance with client's standards.
The application maintains student and staff information and generates reports and files that may need to be submitted to the client. The application is an ASP .Net application with SQL Server for data management and Active Directory for Identity management.

Mandatory Skills:
- Eight or more years of technical experience (Required)
- Experience in transactional and dimensional database design (Required)
- Experience developing SSIS packages and data transformations (Required)
- Object oriented design and programming (Required)
- Experience developing stored procedures that interface with SQL Server 2005 (Required)
- Experience designing and developing Web applications using VISUAL STUDIO.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, XML, VB.NET, C#.NET Internet Security (Highly Desired)
- System Analysis Skills (Required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Required)
- Excellent decision-making and problem solving skills (Required)
